We Fix Structural Problems

We Fix Structural Problems

The experience

Heavy, Difficult Work

We fix the structural problems that result from those soil changes. Foundation repair is heavy, difficult work. It requires digging, lifting, and installing steel anchors or piers to stabilize a house. We do not take shortcuts on the engineering or the labor.

Permanent Fixes

We know finding a crack in your brick or a sagging floor inside your living room is stressful. Our job is to give you a permanent fix so you can stop worrying about the dirt underneath you. If you see stair-step cracks in your exterior brick, doors that suddenly stick, or a sinking concrete slab, call me at 931-551-1032. You can also email rivib61148@hutdot.com. We will come out to your property, diagnose the issue, and tell you exactly what it will take to stabilize your home.

Middle Tennessee Soil

Middle Tennessee Soil

My name is Eric, and I run Rivib Foundation Pros out of Clarksville. We repair foundations across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Houses around here sit on heavy clay soil. When it rains, that clay swells. When it dries out in August, it shrinks. Over time, that constant movement takes a toll on concrete footings, basement walls, and crawlspace supports.

Our Hard Rule

Our Hard Rule

That brings up a hard rule we stick to. We do not do cosmetic crack patching on structural failures. If a basement wall is bowing inward from hydrostatic pressure, filling the block cracks with epoxy will not stop the wall from eventually caving in. If you want a quick patch job just to get a house through a real estate inspection without addressing the sinking footing, we are not the right company for you. We fix the root cause of the settlement. If a crack is truly just normal concrete shrinkage, we will tell you that and explain how to seal it yourself.

Clear Property Assessments

When you hire Rivib Foundation Pros, you get a clear assessment of your property.

Inspection

Inspection

We get under the house. We measure the floor elevations. We inspect the block, the poured walls, and the floor joists.

Planning

Planning

We figure out exactly where the ground is failing and map out a plan to permanently transfer the weight of your home to stable soil.
